Becker into the 2nd Round
This week has led Benjamin to Barcelona, Spain where he has already made an impact in the first round. Russian player, Igor Kunitsyn, put up a good fight in the first round but it was not enough as Benjamin won in straight sets 76(2) 64. His next opponent from Spain is Oscar Hernandez, who in the first round defeated Dmitry Tursonov. Good Luck BB

BB in Monte Carlo
Benjamin made his travels at the end of last week to the red clay of Monte Carlo. This Masters Series Event sent wild card entry Thomas Johansson to face BB in the first round. BB proved he was the better player in the 1st round beating Johansson 7-6(4), 6-2. The 2nd round did not go Benjamin's way as he lost in straight sets to a tough Tomas Berdych. We wish Benjamin the best of luck in the next events leading up to the French Open.

Becker Falls to Ivo Again
For the second time this year BB went down to Ivo Karlovic...this time 75 76 in the first round of the US Men's Clay Court Championships in Houston.
BB moves on to Europe for the Monte Carlo Master Series Event...the first of 3 Red Clay Masters Series leading up to the French Open.

Becker Wins Doubles Thriller
Becker and Nicolas Massu teamed up against Amer Delic and Robby Ginepri and won after being down 76 52 and saving several match points. They came back to win 67 76 76 with an 11-9 3rd set tiebreaker where they even saved a match point on Delic's serve.
RTM Coach Willie Aubone said there were some extremely exciting points in the doubles and BB is playing well on the clay.

Becker Drops Exhibition Match
BB lost 63 76 to Albert Montanes of Spain in the 2nd round of the River Oaks Tennis Classic. No details about the match are currently available but when that changes we will edit this post and provide more information.
BB is teaming up with Benedikt Dorsch for doubles starting tomorrow.
